Knife attacks have average damage and AP cost. Enemies moving nearby provoke an attack.

Knives are a kind of weapon. They do a moderate amount of damage, especially if the user slices than dices their targets. It also allows users to accurately throw knives over certain distances, making them the only melee weapon to have a ranged attack. Finally, users with knives will automatically slash at any enemy that comes within arm length.

The Knife and Loony both start off with knives. The Boss could start out with one too, depending on how the player builds him.


Dice: A quick slash at a single target. Vulnerable enemies take 50% more damage.

Slice: Slice wildly with the knife, damaging enemies in an arc.

  • Damage: 15 to 30
  • AP Cost: 5
  • On Hit: Vulnerable (10% more likely to get hit) for 1 turn.

Knife Throw: Throw a knife towards the target. Ignores covers and obstructions.

  • Damage: 15 to 30
  • AP Cost: 6
  • On Hit: Bleeding (10 damage each turn) for 3 turns.


Better Knife

  • +10% damage.

Exceptional Knife

  • +20% damage.

The Trench Knife

  • +10% hit chance.
  • +20% damage.
